Round up: Interesting News & Views Around the Web

newspapersWorks by Women shines a spotlight on our favorite articles from this past weekend.

A lively debate has surfaced on HowlRound where playwright Winter Miller responds to director, actor and Linklater voice instructor Timothy Douglas’s thought-provoking post about life in American theater as an African-American man. Mr. Douglas and Ms. Miller, in their two brief posts, have started a conversation that is vital for American theater, and will hopefully continue both on and offline.

Zack Calhoon profiles ‘People You Should Know’ on his blog, Visible Soul. He recently interviewed director and actor Aimee Todoroff. It’s a fine interview.

2AMt is one of my favorite theatre-centric blogs around. And, this post by Martha Wade Steketee is a must read for theater practitioners interested in social media and what the future portends.
