Athena Film Festival in New York City

The Athena Film Festival — A Celebration of Women and Leadership — will take place from February 10-13 at Barnard College at 116th and Broadway in New York City.  The festival will showcase over 20 films highlighting the wide diversity of women’s leadership in both real life and the fictional world, illuminating the stories of women from across the globe who have made a difference in their countries and communities.

The four-day festival will feature Oscar-nominated Winter’s Bone by Debra Granik, Shola Lynch’s fabulous documentary CHISOLM ’72 — Unbought and Unbossed, and the premiere of Passionate Politics: The Life and Work of Charlotte Bunch by Tami Gold (Out at Work).  Panel discussions will be held February 12th and 13th, boasting insights by Greta Gerwig, Delia Ephron, Deborah Kampmeier, Trudie Styler and more.
