Kathryn Velvel Jones, a social media entrepreneur and actor, and playwright Joey Brenneman want to revolutionize theater. They are the producers on Better Left Unsaid, Brenneman’s new play that will be performed on a New York stage AND streamed live online. Audience members will also have the option to watch the play on demand, if they cannot catch it on stage or online as it happens. The production’s goal is to merge theater and technology.
This extraordinary effort, which received a terrific profile on The Clyde Fitch Report this week, has a Kickstarter campaign to fund it. Jones and Brenneman need to raise $20,000 by October 3rd. So far, they have reached 42% of its goal. To donate, visit here.
