Works by Women‘s blog has been on hiatus for a little while as I developed a new blog in celebration of the League of Professional Theatre Women’s 30th Anniversary. Now, that it is up and running, I will return my attention to Works by Women, celebrating the work of women in theater.
In the meantime, if you have a chance, please check out the LPTW30 blog, which profiles a different LPTW member each day. While you will learn a little about each woman’s work in her bio, each post offers a more personal glimpse into what inspires these women and what makes them tick. Some recent posts include playwright Chiori Miyagawa‘s love letter to Swan Lake, playwright Robin Rice Lichtig‘s ode to being 7o-year-old, playwright Robin Rothstein’s riff on the Bloody Mary and dramaturg Anne Hamilton‘s appreciation of Judith Malina.
Check the blog out frequently because a new post by a different member will be featured each day of 2012.
